Your tasks

Lead data governance projects from initial planning and initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes (incl. P&L).
Establish offerings around our organization and current market trends and lead sales pitches as the subject matter expert.
Land & Expand: Identify opportunities and risks in projects and successfully create new roles within existing projects.
Design and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks tailored to client needs.
Provide expert advice on best practices around data governance and data management.
Conduct workshops and training sessions to enable clients on data governance principles.
Strengthen the data governance cluster with strong technical and organizational data strategy and governance expertise.
Represent synvert in external networks and build up the reputation in the market.

What do we expect from you?

Minimum of 7 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
Experience in consulting or advisory roles related to data governance.
Proven track record of successfully leading data governance projects.
Working with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., Ab Initio, Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
Bachelor/Master’s degree in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or in similar qualifications
Relevant certifications (e.g., Ab Initio, DAMA Certified Data Management Professional, etc.).
Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze complex data issues and develop effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with managing projects as well as hands-on implementation of the Cloud/ area Data Engineering projects
Openness to occasional travel (up to 30% of the time)
German, English: fluent in speaking & writing
Proven ability to identify opportunities and risks within projects and create new roles within existing projects.

Deine Aufgaben

Data-Governance-Projekte von der ersten Planung und Initiierung bis zum Abschluss leiten und dabei eine termingerechte Lieferung und qualitativ hochwertige Ergebnisse sicherstellen (inkl. P&L).
Angebote rund um unsere Organisation und aktuelle Markttrends etablieren und Verkaufspräsentationen als Fachexperte leiten.
Land & Expand: Chancen und Risiken in Projekten identifizieren und erfolgreich neue Rollen innerhalb bestehender Projekte schaffen.
Umfassende Data-Governance-Frameworks entwerfen und implementieren, die auf die Bedürfnisse der Kunden zugeschnitten sind.
Fachkundige Beratung zu Best Practices rund um Data Governance und Datenmanagement bieten.
Workshops und Schulungen durchführen, um Kunden zu Data-Governance-Prinzipien zu befähigen.
Den Data-Governance-Cluster mit fundierter technischer und organisatorischer Expertise in Datenstrategie und Governance stärken.
synvert in externen Netzwerken vertreten und die Reputation am Markt aufbauen.

Was erwarten wir von Dir?

Mindestens 7 Jahre Erfahrung in Data Governance, Datenmanagement oder einem verwandten Bereich.
Erfahrung in Beratungs- oder Advisory-Rollen im Zusammenhang mit Data Governance.
Nachweisliche Erfolge bei der Leitung von Data-Governance-Projekten.
Arbeit mit Data-Governance-Tools und -Technologien (z.B. Ab Initio, Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
Bachelor-/Master-Abschluss in Statistik, Physik, Mathematik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Informatik, Informationsmanagement oder vergleichbare Qualifikationen
Relevante Zertifizierungen (z.B. Ab Initio, DAMA Certified Data Management Professional, etc.).
Fundiertes Verständnis von Data-Governance-Prinzipien, Frameworks und Best Practices.
Ausgezeichnete Projektmanagement- und Organisationsfähigkeiten.
