Your tasks

Implement ETL and Snowflake / DWH Cloud architecture
Be(come) a technical expert on all aspects of Snowflake
Implement Snowflake in various Big Data projects
Work hands-on at a deep technical level with customers to demonstrate and communicate implementation of Snowflake technology
Collect and understand the business requirements and implement them
Create reports for the business departments
Implement ETL routines to integrate the date into Snowflake

What do we expect from you?

+/- 2 years in ETL and DWH Projects
Good knowledge of data processing systems, DWH, and databases (ETL/ELT)
Good DWH experience with diverse data models (Immon, Kimball, Data Vault 2.0)
Data Modeling and Data Warehousing eg. Data Vault, etc.
Experience with at least one RDB
Bachelor / Master’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, Information Management or in similar qualifications
German, English: fluent in speaking & writing
Openness to occasional travel

Good to have:

Software Engineering background/best practices
Experience in consulting
Snowflake certification / experience with Snowflake

Deine Aufgaben

Implementierung von ETL- und Snowflake / DWH-Cloud-Architekturen
Zuständig als technischer Experte für alle Aspekte von Snowflake
Implementierung von Snowflake in verschiedenen Big-Data-Projekten
Praktische Arbeit auf tief technischem Niveau mit Kunden, um die Implementierung der Snowflake-Technologie zu demonstrieren und zu kommunizieren
Sammeln und Verstehen der geschäftlichen Anforderungen und deren Umsetzung
Erstellen von Berichten für die Fachabteilungen
Implementierung von ETL-Routinen zur Integration der Daten in Snowflake

Was erwarten wir von Dir?

Ca. 2 Jahre Erfahrung in ETL- und DWH-Projekten
Gute Kenntnisse in Datenverarbeitungssystemen, DWH und Datenbanken (ETL/ELT)
Gute DWH-Erfahrung mit verschiedenen Datenmodellen (Inmon, Kimball, Data Vault 2.0)
Datenmodellierung und Data Warehousing, z.B. Data Vault, etc.
Erfahrung mit mindestens einer relationalen Datenbank (RDB)
Bachelor- / Master-Abschluss in Informatik, Computerwissenschaften, Physik, Wirtschaft, Informationsmanagement oder einer ähnlichen Qualifikation
Deutsch, Englisch: fließend in Wort und Schrift
Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Reisen
Vorteilhafte Kenntnisse:
- Hintergrund im Software Engineering / in Best Practices
- Erfahrung in der Beratung
- Snowflake-Zertifizierung / Erfahrung mit Snowflake
